    Ultimate Dining Experience like no other. Our modern fusion cuisine
    Hearth of the Ram opened in May 2012 following a comprehensive refurbishment of the 200 year old character building. Owner’s Euan & Dena Watkins have transformed the three floor property, creating a stylish interior showcasing traditional period features within a sleek contemporary backdrop. Open ‘all day, every day’ serving award winning food, our focus is providing the best quality food and drink, emphasising local sourcing and seasonality. Our daily changing menu reflects our imaginative modern British style, alongside a carefully chosen wine list, many of which are available to order by the glass. Offering this quality whilst preserving value for money has been recognised in our recent 2016 Michelin Bib Gourmand Award.

    We host regular Gourmet Dinners, often in conjunction with a Winery or supplier and have regular Annual Events such as our Seafood and Game Festivals. These events showcase the very best seasonal produce, paired alongside carefully chosen fine wines to compliment each dish.

    We serve food all day, everyday on a range of Menu’s to suit appetites of all varieties. We use only the best quality fresh produce from our local suppliers who deliver on a daily basis and all our food is prepared fresh in house everyday from ice creams and sorbet, stocks and sauces to bread and freshly cut aged steak.

    We serve a huge range of wines by the glass including high quality fine wine from our Cruvinet Wine Preservation System. The bar features thirteen different draft beers, cask ales and cider, many more by bottle alongside a huge selection of spirits and hand shaken cocktails.
